"Yoga for Our Lives is a back-to-basics movement. In its simplest form, yoga is intended to enhance and embrace an awareness of body, mind, and breathing. We know through focusing on these three simple, universal components of life we are better able to name and accept our emotions without judgement, to embrace them safely and constructively, and to flow through our strongest emotions when they need to be released. Yoga for Our Lives is simple, and that’s why we believe in it. By embracing common sense gun control regulations, and providing children and communities access to simple coping mechanisms we will create healthier minds, safer neighborhoods and happier souls… and who doesn’t want that?" Ashley Weeks Cart, Organizer
Can't attend the yoga class but want to stand in solidarity? Or, you're planning to come but want to further show your support? Our friends at Article 22 have created a limited run of this custom wrap bracelet. The words "MAY ALL BEINGS BE SAFE" are engraved on a piece of repurposed bomb material from the country of Laos. Each Article 22 design tells a transformation story of negative into positive. Much like the activism and progress that has grown from the heartbreak and terror of school shootings, this piece of jewelry speaks to the beauty that can come from the ugliest of experiences.
$40 per bracelet with all proceeds donated directly to Everytown for Gun Safety
