Studio Closing February 2025

Friends,

It is with deep gratitude that I share the news that North Adams Yoga will be closing its doors in February.

After more than 8 years of creating, growing, and sharing space with this incredible community, we have made the decision this chapter is ending.

This choice wasn’t made lightly, but it feels like the right time. I feel very complete in what we created and nurtured as a studio. My personal and professional interests, however, have been evolving. It is clear to me my passion and purpose right now is my family and how else I can make an impact in the world. As I reflect on all we’ve accomplished together, I’m proud. The community we’ve cultivated together has shaped our local yoga scene as it is today. Being part of that evolution has been incredible.

An Uncertain but Hopeful Future

While this marks the end of the studio, it’s not necessarily the end of my work in yoga. I’m not quite sure what the future holds, but I do know that teaching and practicing yoga will always be a part of my life in some capacity. This feels like a natural place to stop and reassess, but I look forward to discovering what new opportunities may arise from this transition. (Who's hiring?)

What’s Next for You?

We’ll continue to offer classes through January with some opportunities in February, and I invite you to join us as we honor the time we’ve spent together in these last few months. We’re also planning a farewell tour of sorts with the last workshop options, etc. If you have any remaining class credits or memberships, they must be used before our closing. For those with unlimited annual passes we will be in contact about our closing policy. For those seeking to continue practicing or exercising with us we will be available for private lessons, online classes in the future, maybe a few in person options (???).

Staying Connected

While 26 Holden Street is ending, this isn't goodbye. We've still got a few months together in our beautiful space and we're not going anywhere! I will also maintain this email list in the future to keep you up to date with any yoga/fitness opportunities with us.

Thank you again for making this experience so meaningful. Whether it was your first class here or your hundredth, your presence has shaped this studio and the wider yoga community. I’m deeply honored to have had the chance to teach and grow alongside you. You have made me a better teacher, and held me accountable to be a good person. I hope to see you in the studio in these final months (and I will save the sappier final email for February). I look forward to whatever lies ahead with hope and gratitude, and excitement.

Warmly,

Devin

and Deb!
