Relaxation Yoga | 60 - 75 min.
Let go. Relax. Wind down. Enjoy some quiet time. Whatever you call it--it's you time! Traditional yoga poses, breathing techniques, and meditations are fit together to let you restore mind, body, and soul. A class for all levels--anyone who wants to relax! It is slower paced and includes long relaxation poses with guided meditation (known as yoga nidra). Class offered about once a month.
Gentle Yoga | 60 min.
This class is designed to restore movement patterns in the body and your energy, This class is not just about gentle poses; it also invites you to be gentle with yourself. A movement based yoga class, this class includes gentle stretching, joint mobility techniques, and breathing exercises. No experience required. Participants should be able to get on the ground to lay and kneel with props.
All Levels Yoga | 60 min.
A yoga practice is progressive. The foundations of a yoga practice can be layered to continuously deepen and advance, This class goes through the progressions of poses so it is both beginner friendly and appropriate for yogis advancing their practice. Expect to learn poses that build strength and poses that increase flexibility/mobility. Breathing techniques and brief meditations may also be instructed during this holistic, hour class. Classes weekly.
Prenatal Yoga| 60 min.
Prenatal yoga can help to prepare for delivery, bond mom and baby, and support moms after delivery with mindfulness, stretching and strengthening exercises, and community. Prenatal yoga is appropriate for those with or without yoga experience and adapts poses, breathing, and relaxation techniques to pregnant women. This class is appropriate for all stages of pregnancy with approval of your healthcare provider. No prior yoga experience needed. Class runs as a series.
For Experienced Students
Flow & Restore Yoga | 60 min.
This class is the best of both worlds. Practice an energizing, whole body flow practice to stretch and tone the body, followed by some quality time in restorative and yin poses for deeper relaxation and release. It's everything you could want in an hour class: a work out, a stretch, relaxation, and time to focus on yourself. It's a great way to start the day and to start working towards a flow practice if you have been taking All Levels classes.
Intermediate Flow Yoga | 75 min.
A Vinyasa flow class that sequences of standing poses and detailed transitions between poses. Expect to learn and practice standing poses, arm balances, inversions, and advanced pranayam. A more vigorous practice, this class is best suited for intermediate students who minimally know how to enter poses such as the warriors, bridge, upward-facing dog, and shoulderstand safely, without demonstration. More advanced options are presented throughout class. Classes weekly.
